We had the pleasure of hosting an Exhibition of level 3 Creative & Digital Media students work last Friday at PAD STUDIOS. My son Nathan (who is also a Web Designer – far right in picture) and I was asked to suggest some project work for the Students by Andrew Sanders the Creative Apprenticeship course Leader.
We are in the process of rethinking the www.luvull.com website so we thought it should be based around imagery of Hull. The students duly went into parts of the town they hadn’t been before and carefully prepared a series of varied, highly creative images with some photoshop input for us. Which we spent a pleasant afternoon going through with them to help with our final selection.
Considering the short time scales the Students responded extremely well and Nathan and I were really impressed with how they confidently presented and discussed their work. Here are the final selected images;
We also asked them to include some of the images into the new LUVULL logo montages. The best four of which you can see here: (we minimally adapted some of them, but very slightly for repro purposes). The Photographic Exhibition was up in the Studio for a week, and prints are for sale from the college, please call us for details.
